Table columns
Most list tables let you choose which columns they show and in which order. Click the gear icon in the table's top-right corner (Table settings) to see every column the table offers.
This is available on Objects, Attributes, Glossary, Business rules, Suggestions, Automations, Test cases, Test suites and Profiling, on the test case Reports list, in Manage relations, and on the attribute tables inside an object's and a term's detailed view.
Choosing columns
Tick or untick a column to show or hide it. Hold Shift while clicking to toggle every column between the last one you clicked and this one.
Drag a column by its handle to move it. The table follows the order of the list.
Columns with a disabled tick box are always shown and cannot be hidden.
Select all shows every column the table offers.
Reset defaults goes back to the default columns and order, and drops any column widths you set.
Custom fields of the entity appear in the list as columns of their own. A newly created custom field is shown automatically.
Default columns for all users
An admin can decide which columns a table shows for everyone who has not changed that table themselves:
Set up the table the way it should look for users: tick the columns to show and drag them into order.
In Table settings, click Set default, then confirm with Set default in the dialog.
Users who have never changed the table get the new default the next time they load the page. Anyone who has ticked, unticked or reordered columns keeps their own choice. Reset defaults brings them back to the admin default, and from then on they follow it, including later changes.
Custom fields the admin left unticked stay hidden for users. A custom field created after the default was saved is still shown automatically.
To go back to the built-in columns, click Clear default in Table settings and confirm in the dialog. Users who follow the default see the built-in columns on their next page load.
